The second additional level pack for Mister Tins is available. It's called "Dungeons" and it contains 25 levels which are mazes of rooms, corridors and stairs resembling an underground dungeon. The goal of each level is to navigate through the maze in order to place all boxes on the triggers, open the doors and find the exit. It may sound easy, but the more levels you solve, the more rooms they contain, so both good memory and sense of orientation is necessary.
You can see a fragment of one of the levels below:
By the way — the official version of the game is really getting closer. It will be available for sale by the end of April. In the meantime, I'm still looking for beta testers, so if you want to take a look at the full version of the game (including the level packs), just let me know and I will send you a registration code.
It's been a while since the last version of the game was released, but in the meantime I'm creating additional level packs so that the game doesn't end when you complete the 30 levels included with it. The first additional level pack is simply called "Puzzle". It consists of 30 levels of varying difficulty in which you have to move boxes to correct places on a square grid ranging from 4x4 to 8x8 blocks. You can see an example below:
The levels were created randomly using a very simple tool. I already have a few other random level generators like this, so you can expect more levels to be published in the Level Packs catalog soon. I will also post an article about creating such level generators. The level format is well documented and very simple, so modding the game by creating custom level generators is an easy thing to do if you know any programming language.
